It is that time of the semester when we’re rounding the corner to exams and project due dates and if you’re a senior still finishing up applications – your time is really precious.
My advice for today is about managing that precious time and in particular – advising you to make sure that you make a place in your schedule for checking your email.
I get it. Email is probably not a place you spend a lot of time – but it is still a primary communication channel between you and the colleges and universities you’re interested in. Admissions offices frequently share opportunities for prospective students, give helpful information, and of course, will use email to correspond with you about application issues. So set aside some time each day to make sure that you don’t miss out on anything important.
Hang in there, you’re off to great things!
