Hello everyone and Happy Thanksgiving. In just a few days we’ll take a short break and celebrate all that we’re thankful for. It is in that spirit I am reminding you to be thankful and challenge you to say so to the teachers, coaches and mentors who are helping you be your best self. It can be a quick email, a short old-school handwritten note or a quick wave and a “thanks for all you do for me” as you pass by.
Saying thank you shows you for the class act that you are, but did you know that those simple words can also help you maintain a positive outlook? Research has shown that gratitude is good for our physical health and our emotional wellbeing and the best part? It doesn’t cost a thing.
